THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKE A NET

CHRISTIANITY

47“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was thrown into the sea and gathered fish of every kind.

48When it was full, men drew it ashore and sat down and sorted the good into containers but threw away the bad.

49So it will be at the end of the age.

The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous 50and throw them into the fiery furnace.

In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

MATTHEW 13:47-50

COMMENTARY

The Kingdom of GOD on Earth, before the Day of Judgement, is like a fishnet that catches all kinds of fish, in this case, people.

At the end of the day, after we are all judged before our MAKER, the angels of GOD will separate the righteous from the unrighteous, meaning, those who lived according to the will of GOD, doing what is right or at least trying every day to do justice according to GODs will, and live in repentance and submission to YHWH; from all those who lived their lives in sin, constantly doing what is wrong, evil and unjust, as if there was no GOD, and never repented from their actions and way of life, while professing to ‘believe’ in GOD and JESUS, and died unrepentant.  

Note that the passage makes no distinction between ‘elected’ and ‘non-elected’ or between ‘truly or untruly’ redeemed, but it is based only on the conduct and the attitude towards GOD THE FATHER. Their salvation or perdition, it is solely on their attitude towards GOD.

Nobody is perfect, but it is not the same, to be of  those who believe and worship the true GOD, and at least try to live according to his will, asking for forgiveness everyday for their mistakes, and get up again with the intention of living in rightful submission to LORD YHWH; from the ones who even though they profess to be believers, they live their lives as if they were not, constantly living in sin, taking pleasure in it, knowing that GOD condemns those who live that way, and never ask for forgiveness, and never pray or take GOD into account for their plans.

THOSE WHO DENIED GOD WITH THEIR ACTIONS, IN FULL KNOWLEDGE THAT THEY ARE SINNING, they will be sentence for punishment and purification in the LAKE OF FIRE, that GOD has created for the evil doers.
