29And immediately he left the synagogue and entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

30Now Simon’s mother-in-law lay ill with a fever, and immediately they told him about her.

31And he came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever left her, and she began to serve them.

32That evening at sundown they brought to him all who were sick or oppressed by demons. 33And the whole city was gathered together at the door.

34And he healed many who were sick with various diseases and cast out many demons.

And he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him.

MARK 1:29 – 34

After the incident in the Capernaum synagogue, on a Shabbat, Jesus went to the house of Simon, Peter, and healed his mother-in-Law, since she had been sick for a while without the use of medicine or effort.

Jesus’s fame had become known, and that evening, people from all over the town came to Simon’s house begging for Lord Jesus to heal them or heal their relatives.

Jesus in his mercy, attended all, and healed them from their diseases, and also delivered them from demonic possession.

Jesus never denied Himself to anyone who came to Him in repentance or seeking his healing power (Jn 6:37), but on the contrary, He demonstrated the veracity of his words through the evident demonstration of supernatural power (Jn 11:43), which became the guarantee of God’s approval to his Ministry apart from his own resurrection.

Jesus demonstrated through his miracles, that He counted with YHWH’s approval, in a way nobody had ever done before.

And among those miracles, He demonstrated through the many resurrections He did, (Lazarus – Jn 11; the widow’s son – Lk 7; Jairo’s daughter – Mk 5), and his own resurrection, that He had power even over death itself.

He truly has the Keys of Death and Hades (Rv 1:18)
